I ♥ sweets - A visit from the Toffee Fairy

Today I got a FB message - it read something like "Hi Froggie, I'd like to check with you whether you'd like some caramels. [...] Cheers, W." You bet I'd like some!! So the Toffee Fairy and I met this evening, and I gratefully took delivery of a cute little bag full of home-made cinnamon caramels.

They were delicious! Buttery, with a good, strong caramel flavour but no bitterness (read: they tasted like the sugar had been cooked to the perfect temperature) and had a very subtle cinnamon flavour.

A big hug to W. for these - please use me as a guinea pig again!!  ;-)
